Gas Station is an idle tycoon about building a business out of a wreck: you inherit an abandoned station in the middle of a junkyard, and turning it into a thriving service hub is entirely down to you. You smash and clear the debris by hand, restore the ruined buildings, open the first pump — and cars start pulling in off the road. From there the site grows into a full service hub: a convenience store, a car wash, a tire shop and a garage where you repair engines and swap parts yourself.Your character has a level, and that level decides what he is strong enough to break. The heavier junk piles and the rusted-out wrecks stay where they are until you rank up by finishing quests and putting up new buildings — so clearing the site and levelling up feed each other. Clear a location completely and the whole location upgrades: the same customers start paying noticeably more.Money is not the only resource. Broken junk yields scrap metal, and the recycler at the junkyard smelts scrap into steel, which is what most of your construction needs. Smashed junk also drops items that give buffs and boosts. Customers need something to spend money on, so restocking is part of the job: snacks on the store shelves, drinks in the vending machines, paper in the restrooms. Staff can be hired to handle the routine for you, roaming traders show up to hand over or swap resources, and VIP clients pay a premium for service. There is more than one site to run — the station with its garage, the junkyard, the car wash and others — all connected by a map you use to fast-travel between them. Profit keeps accruing while you are away from the screen. The game needs no installation and is free to play right in your browser.
Gas Station takes about a minute to pick up: the controls come down to moving your character and clicking on objects — the game walks you through the rest.
On phones and tablets it works the same way: swipe to move your character, tap to interact with objects and the interface.
